At CrossFit Brighton we continually hear from our members how helpful, caring and impactful our trainers are and we agree!
For this month’s newsletter, we chatted with the man with the most impressive handwriting, military career, and strong shoulders we know: Coach Larry.
Did you know he’s a Captain in the Navy and throughout his nearly 30-year career commanded both squadrons and ships? In addition to helping our CFB community with their fitness, he also is the Commanding Officer of the NROTC unit at the University of Michigan.
He has been blessed to be a part of high-performing teams in unforgiving environments and feels equally blessed to be a part of CFB!
He is married to Stacy, who was born and raised in Milford, and they have two kids. Joshua is 17 and a senior at Catholic Central attending Kalamazoo College to play baseball in the fall. Their daughter Ryan is 15 and a sophomore at St. Catherine’s and plays volleyball. They also have a Bernese mountain dog named Ammo (of course!) who is the soul of the family.
Check out our recent video to hear from Larry directly as well as a special appearance from one of our favorite 7:15 am-ers…
